Tomorrow we've got Memory Box at 1.00pm during Soup Lunch, with the theme of 1977! Followed at 1.30pm by our Gaelic Conversation Group, A’ Bruidhinn na Gàidhlig, when we'll be learning about Questions!

Last month, we had a special Memory Box with Corinna Annetts, who kindly brought items from Gairloch Museum about the History of the Post in our area. It was a really fascinating session with lots of shared memories and conversation. This included the (lack of) changes in our local landscape, writing and sending letters and postcards (including Kirsty's wedding thank you letters posted from the Eiffel Tower!) transporting eggs, and newspapers sent in the nose of a plane to the islands. Lots of people reminisced about the Post Bus, and some had personal memories of family members working for the mail.

Everyone is welcome and all our activities are free, but donations are very much appreciated!

Please note there will be NO SOUP LUNCH NEXT WEEK AS THE HALL IS CLOSED.

It's Gaelic Practice - Cleachdadh na Gàidhlig - this afternoon at 4.00pm. We'll be practising words, phrases and sentences, and singing songs and playing a game! Bidh sinn a' cleachdadh na faclan, fràsan is seantansan, agus bidh sinn a' seinn òrain agus a' cluiche geama!

Everyone is welcome and all our activities are free - although donations are always welcome!

This week we've already had:

👍Baby Sensory and Toddler Group on Monday from 10.30am.

Still to come:

👍Gaelic Conversation Practice at 4.00pm on Tuesday, focusing on Soup Lunch - Lòn Brot. We're still very much beginning of our Gaelic journey, so everyone is welcome to join us!

👍On Wednesday it's Memory Box at 1.00pm, when the theme will be 1977! Then at 1.30pm, straight after Soup Lunch, it's our Gaelic Conversation Group, A’ Bruidhinn na Gàidhlig. This month we'll be learning about Na Ceistean – Questions!

👍Bouldering Wall sessions:

Wednesday:
6.00pm - 7.00pm Adult Beginners
7.00pm - 9.00pm Adults Social Climbing

👍Kids' Drama at on Thursday at 5.30pm - please note the later start again this week. This group is fully subscribed, but please let us know if you'd like to add a name to the waiting list!

👍Sunday's Episcopalian Church Service will go ahead at 2.00pm as usual.

❌NO KIDS' OR ADULT CLIMBING ON FRIDAY.

THE HALL WILL BE CLOSED FOR A WEEK FROM FRIDAY 5TH - FRIDAY 12TH JUNE DUE TO A PRIVATE BOOKING.

It's Quiz Night this Saturday, 30th May, starting at 7.00pm. There's no dinner this time, but pudding/cake will be provided at half time - and if last Quiz was anything to go by, you're in for a treat!

Tomorrow at 1.30pm, it's Intergenerational Arts, straight after Soup Lunch. Last week we finished our pieces for the Spring Garland and did some more work on our Decoupage. This time we'll be adding more layers to our Decoupage pieces and having a go at Marbling!

Next Wednesday we'll have Memory Box at 1.00pm with the theme of 1977. Followed by A’ Bruidhinn na Gàidhlig, our Gaelic Conversation Group at 1.30pm. This time we'll be asking Questions - Na Ceistean!
