Look at this lovely lot šŸ§”šŸ’œ

Yesterday, our team came together to catch up, share stories, hear important updates about our work, celebrate achievements, and get a little competitive with a game of Wellbeing Bingo.

We were also proud to present long-service awards to Vicky and Pauline, recognising their years of dedication and the difference they make to the people they support every day.

In a world that can sometimes feel divided, it's important to remember that there are people who spend their time helping others and making a positive difference.

Across all our service areas, our teams work hard to make sure people are listened to, supported, and don't have to face challenges alone. Days like these remind us why advocacy matters and how much can be achieved when people work together.

We're endlessly proud of this team šŸ§”šŸ’œ

āš ļø Trigger warning: these slides mention su***de and mental health struggles.

Let’s talk about men’s health.

This week is Men’s Health Week, but both physical and mental health need support all year round. The stats around men’s health don’t really change year on year, and that’s worrying. We keep hearing the same thing: men are less likely to seek help or speak to their GP when something doesn’t feel right.

This week, check in with your family and friends. Ask how they are. Encourage them to get support if they need it. No one should struggle with poor health on their own.

ā€œDo you see me?ā€

That’s the question at the heart of Learning Disability Week 2026.

Too often, people with a learning disability are overlooked, underestimated, or ignored. This week is about changing that - by listening, making space, and valuing every person’s voice and contribution.

Because being seen and listened to isn’t a bonus. It’s a right.

🧔 To all the carers, you deserve support too.

This Carers Week, we’re recognising the important role unpaid carers play in our families and communities.

Carers are people who help look after a family member, friend, or someone they care about. This can be rewarding, but it can also be hard at times.

That’s why this year’s theme, 'Building Carer Friendly Communities', is so important. It’s about making sure carers feel supported, understood, and valued in everyday life, including in schools, workplaces, and local communities.

If you help care for someone who needs support with their health or social care, you’re not alone.

We’ve created guides and self-help toolkits that might help you.

This Child Safety Week, we're talking about every child's right to be safe.

Children and young people have the right to feel safe at home, at school, online, and in their communities. They also have the right to be protected from harm and treated with respect.

Knowing your rights can help you understand how adults should support and protect you.

Happy Pride Month! 🌈

This month, we're celebrating LGBTQ+ people and communities. Everyone deserves to feel safe, included, and accepted for who they are.

We're proud to support communities where everyone belongs.

Care isn’t free for everyone.

Sometimes, when someone needs care, a financial assessment is done. This helps decide how much they might need to pay.

Our latest Family and Friends booklet is here to help you understand what to expect. It explains:
- What a financial assessment is
- How it works
- What it could mean for you or your family

Find this and more, including helpful videos, on our Family and Friends Focus page:
