Exciting news...our volunteer applications are officially back open! 🤩

If you have been thinking about giving a little of your time to make a real difference in your community, now is your chance. We are looking for warm, passionate volunteers to join the Lancashire Women family across our Accrington, Burnley and Blackpool centres.

What you'll need:
✅ Available for a minimum of 4 hours per week for at least 6 months
✅ Willingness to complete a 4-week induction training course
✅ Happy to undertake a DBS check
✅ Must be over 18

In return, you'll gain new skills, build your confidence, meet brilliant people and know that your time is changing lives across Lancashire. 🩵

With just under 3 weeks to go until the big weekend, we are thrilled to announce that Lancashire Tea will be joining Race Across Lancashire 2026 as our official Finish Line Partner and honestly, we cannot think of a more fitting way to celebrate the end of one of Lancashire's most exhilarating challenges ☕

All of our groups are free to attend and open to women across Preston and the surrounding area. Some sessions are drop-in, whilst others have limited spaces so we’d recommend getting in touch sooner rather than later to secure your spot.

Calling all tradeswomen in Lancashire! 🧑‍🔧

If you’re a female electrician, plumber, gas engineer, builder, roofer, or joiner who is looking for more work and to make a difference, we’d love to work with you on some of our property maintenance projects.

Further strengthening our popular handywomen service, we’re partnering with tradeswomen across Lancashire, providing our clients with MORE, whilst acting as a referral partner for YOU 🤝

What a day! 🩷

We had the most wonderful time at the Pink Link Summer Regional event yesterday. It was an afternoon filled with inspiring speakers, brilliant conversations, and so many like-minded women in one room.

A huge thank you to Coral Horn and Pink Link for inviting Lancashire Women to be the chosen charity for the event. It truly meant a lot to be part of such a warm and supportive community.

And the generosity in that room! Our raffle raised an incredible £439 - every penny of which will go towards supporting women and their families across Lancashire. Thank you to everyone who took part.

All of our groups are free, friendly and open to all. No experience needed for any of them - just come as you are and see what feels right. You might just find something that makes a real difference to your week!
