A shocking new poll by Haaretz has revealed the disturbing depth of extremist sentiment within Israeli society amid the ongoing genocide on Gaza.
According to the survey, 82% of Israelis support the forced expulsion of Palestinians, a move that echoes the darkest chapters of ethnic cleansing in modern history.
Even more chilling, 65% of Israelis expressed support for a modern-day enactment of the biblical Amalek command, a reference to the Old Testament story in which God commands the annihilation of an entire people, including men, women, children, and even livestock.
These are not fringe opinions, nor can they be dismissed as the views of an extremist government. They reflect a widespread moral crisis within Israeli society, not just a Netanyahu problem. For decades, international criticism has focused on Israel’s political leadership, yet this poll reveals something far more entrenched: public support for policies and ideologies that amount to ethnic cleansing and even genocide.
