I’m starting a new Yoga class at Whalley Village Hall on Wednesday mornings at 9.30am - 10.30am 🪷

This class will be an energising Hatha yoga class with a short shavasana relaxation at the end, suitable for every body.

Join us next Sunday 18th June at 10am on the farm in Rishton for the Surya Namaskar Challenge to celebrate the summer solstice and the International day of Yoga which takes place on the 21st June 🙏🌞

You are welcome to come along and do as many rounds as you feel comfortable up to 108 and enjoy practicing in nature 🌳🌱🌾☀️

Surya Namaskar or Sun Salutations is a series of 12 different postures performed in a continuous manner to each side of the body practiced in time with the flow of breath. These postures are a combination of alternate forward and backward bending asanas.

Life on Earth would not be possible without the sun. Surya Namaskar is referred to as the worship of the sun, but it is more than that, it is the integration of the sun’s energy within us. Solar energy nourishes us & helps remove energy blockages from within or body ☀️🔥
