Please could everyone keep sharing and signing make sure your checking your emails and clicking the link or your signature won't count thankyou to anyone who's actually taken then time to sign and share and for the promoters. We can't change how we was treated and our experience but we can surely make sure no one experiences it again by raising awareness and making sure they listen acknowledge their faults and ensure it doesn't happen to another family.

The point of the petition is for the coroner to listen to parents concerns and take them seriously. If my child died at home they would of investigated. Even now they are waiting for the hospital to decide whether to open an investigation or not when I've already give them the information they hospital provided me with which clearly states "an opportunity was missed" there is a very high possibility that had the catheter been done sooner the no flow to rhe RCA would of been found sooner and therefore the right ventricle wouldn't of sustained the damage it did. Which basically means he would still be here.

I can't fully explain how they made us feel but I know when we found out about Leo's heart I educated myself and those around me. When they'd speak medical terms I understood what that meant. So when his right ventricle failed and they couldn't explain why and all we got was "it could of happened anyway" we was blindsided and again I started doing research and bit by bit made it make sense where they couldn't. Yet i was made to feel like I was incompetent because I didn't have a degree. As if them not being able to tell us what happened to our son was bad enough they withheld vital information when we asked for a second opinion. Honestly everyone can sit there and think i would do this or that but you dont know how you'll react until your in that situation. Baring in mind these were some of the best surgeons in the country. 1 fatality in 20 years. Over 200 babies operated on. 95% chance of survival not 50/50. 95%. So what went wrong and why didn't they help us get to the bottom of this sooner. 😮‍💨🥺💔🦁💙🪽

Hi Everyone,

Just want to thankyou for the support we've received over the last couple of years especially. Due to the loss of our son Leo-James I haven’t been able to be apart of the charity this is not only due to obvious reasons that losing Leo has been extremely hard on us all but for the past 2 and a half years I've been trying to seek clarity from the hospital. Unfortunately this has proven very difficult.

Below is a petition which will hopefully make a change and ensure families are listened to first and foremost when concerns have been raised and that everything is done to ensure these are addressed at the time to prevent re investigations and in the event such as ours a thorough investigation to take place when it is acknowledged that opportunities where missed. Please take the time to read, sign and share the petition. I'm done being fobbed off and chasing them for answers.

We have been working quietly behind the scenes for The Public Funeral Fund we are still available for anyone who needs any support or guidance and we hope to be back up and out and about as soon as possible.

Again thankyou for the continued support we are still very passionate about making a difference when having lost a loved one and are always looking for new ideas or volunteers to help us deliver the best service. As I hope you can understand getting justice for my son is also something I'm passionate about. I don't know why we had the experience that so many others don't. But its about time we let our voices be heard.

The truth will prevail or so my mother used to say 🙏🦁💙🪽 🦋💚
