‼️Emergency Support Call ‼️

Just had a call about a family in Accrington that have just been moved into a property but have nothing. Two adults and a young boy.

They have white good items arriving but they are currently sleeping on the floor.

We are going to try and support them with Beds, Matteesses, Bedding, and Clothing.

What we are looking for:-
1 x Single Bed frame
1 x Double Bed Frame
1 x Single Mattress
1 x Double Mattress
Double and Single Bedding, and pillows
Children’s Boys 4-5 or 5-6
Women’s XS or 8
Men’s Large
Any other household items that could be helpful to a family starting out.

☔️ ☀️ Spring/Summer Items ☀️☔️

At the church there are lots of items for spring and summer for families including little pack of Child’s Farm shampoo/wash/moisturiser perfect for anyone taking little ones away this summer or even days out.

There’s also a rain coat age 2-3 and a summer hat!

A couple of weeks ago our wonderful volunteer Linda dropped off these wonderful knits for us! As you know we sell these to fund essential items such as formula!

We are on the look out for wool and buttons though if anyone can help us! ❤️❤️❤️

Lots of excellent quality baby clothes in a variety of sizes for both boys and girls at St Peter & St Paul's Parish Church Rishton just take what you need. ❤️

Just a reminder our very limited storage is at capacity so we can’t accept clothing donations at the moment.

Nappies, wipes, formula, and Baby food always welcome.

We need to finish clearing out our storage unit at the market over the next week. We’d really like to find good homes for these items! Please let us know if you need anything (must be collected) please share. Let us know if you are interested and can send some photos!

As I keep forgetting to post when we have restocked I thought I’d let everyone know what we are doing in advance.

Tuesday:-

St Peter & St Paul's Parish Church Rishton restock of the trolley with these essential items below.

Wednesday:-

Hyndburn Children's Book Exchange restock of children’s clothing and warmth items.

Milk and nappies are readily available at the book exchange you just need to ask the volunteers when you visit if you’d like milk and nappies and want to collect from Rishton then we would need you to email [email protected] so we can arrange to get the items out for you.

We aren’t accepting donations of clothing or large items at the moment but if you’d like to donate some items such as the ones pictured below we’d be very grateful. ☺️

What a kind gesture

🎅CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS DINNER🎅

Santa has a special treat this year, we will be offering FREE Christmas dinners to collect so no child has to wake up with no Christmas Dinner on Christmas Day. Santas special gift.

Meals will be Turkey with Roast potatoes, Carrots, Mash, Yorkshire pudding and gravy. Limited to two per booking, to be collected from Noon on Christmas Eve.

We have some brilliant free events over Christmas for the town to enjoy, keep an eye on our page.

We can only do a set amount so please only registerer if it will benefit your family. Everyone is welcome simply register on the link below. Merry Christmas to all.

🎄🎅 Good News 🎅🎄

You may have noticed that Hyndburn Children's Book Exchange has moved to a larger unit which means we’ve been able to drop some items off there. You can go and collect whenever it’s open in Accrington’s Victorian Arcade. We will try and make sure it’s as stocked up as possible over the Christmas period.

Kate had baby Nancy last month. Here she is modelling a Feral & Funky Kids Co. Baby grow this morning.

We are still operating by giving out essential items for babies and toddlers. There are always items such as nappies available from St Peter & St Paul's Parish Church Rishton in the trolley in the church entrance. If you need support with baby milk please email [email protected]

Theres also some Halloween items and other brand new clothes and shoes in the drawer.

Also some hats for older children.

The clothing swap is empty at the moment but when we get chance we will fill it up again! We’ve been saving Christmas items for a while so will bring those over next month!

🩷 Hi all, today is the start of infant and baby loss awareness week.

🩵 You may have noticed that the Towngate clock is lit up pink and blue this month.

🩷 On Sunday the 15th Oct at 6.45pm there will be a small Wave Of Light service on the Town Square in memory of those who left too soon and in support of those who have lost a little one.

🩵 Please do come along to show your support and light a candle in memory.
