💖 Charity Update – 2026 May Festival 💖

Karl and Pete from the Central Team recently met with Zoe from Breast Friends York to present our traditional novelty cheque for £1,500.

Each year, we try to support a local charity through our festival, and it has been a pleasure working with Breast Friends York in 2026. We’re delighted that the festival has been able to contribute to the amazing work they do in supporting people affected by breast cancer.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and supported the festival – this donation wouldn’t be possible without you.

So, Acaster Festival 2026 is over — and hopefully we’ve all had a good sleep to recover! 😄

It takes a huge amount of effort to put the festival together, and we’d like to say a massive thank you to all our volunteers and supporters.

👏 People
The first aiders, gate crews, parking attendants, setup team, takedown team, face painters, sound engineer, and everyone else who helped behind the scenes — thank you!

🍰 The Tea & Cake Tent
Thank you to everyone who worked in the tent on the day, and to all the wonderful bakers who donated their time, effort, and ingredients.

🎟️ The Tombola
Thank you to everyone who helped organise and run the tombola, ticketed the prizes, and donated prizes.

🎁 The Raffle
A huge thank you to the local businesses and companies who donated such fantastic prizes, and to everyone who helped sell raffle tickets on the day.

🐶 Fun Dog Show
A big thank you to all the volunteers who helped organise and run the Fun Dog Show, and of course to everyone who brought along their four-legged friends to take part!

🚗 Classic Cars
Thank you to everyone who brought along their classic and historic vehicles for people to enjoy throughout the day. The display was a real highlight of the festival and hugely appreciated by visitors young and old.

Events like this simply wouldn’t happen without the support of so many people in the community — thank you all for helping make Acaster Festival 2026 such a success!
