Long Furlong Community Centre The Community Centre is the hub of our community, with local groups, community events and more. Thanks for reading!

The Long Furlong Community Association keep the centre running smoothly and are always on the look out for new members so please get in touch if you'd like to get involved. The community centre has two spacious halls that have large partition doors between them. The partition doors can be opened to create one large hall for bigger functions. Each hall has it's own entrance and emergency exits, with a shared facility kitchen. Please see the link at the top of the page if you'd like to make a booking.

🚨 Could you spare a little time just 2–3 times a year? 📬

We urgently need two local volunteers to help deliver the newsletter for:

📍 Ballard Chase & Boulter Drive
📍 Prince Grove & Boulter Drive

We also need some one-off help with Alexander Close, for our next newsletter delivery. If you can help us out just this once, we’d really appreciate it.

It’s a nice excuse for a walk, and a really helpful way to support your local community.

If you could take on one of these rounds, please send us a message. And if you know someone locally who might be able to help, please tag them or share this post. Thank you!

HELP NEEDED!

We are looking for a volunteer to take over managing the weekend casual bookings for the Long Furlong Community Centre - this involves regularly monitoring the email for queries/accepting booking forms/liaising with Treasurer over payments/arranging key delivery. The LFCA committee meets once a month on a Monday evening and ideally you would be able to attend these meetings. You would be supported by the booking secretary who oversees the regular hire sessions and by the rest of the committee! This will take approx 1.5 hours per week. If you would like to find out more please contact us on [email protected]
Thank you! We can't run the hall without your help!
