Pantri Aber is a new project to help people who are struggling with the cost of living. Please feel free to come every Friday afternoon from 2pm to 4pm for a free hot drink, snack and a friendly chat. If grant applications are successful, Pantri Aber will open fully in the summer. Then you will be able to pay £5 a week to be a member and choose food worth at least £10. Come and tell us what you would like the pantry to stock 🍏🍊🍌🥕🫛🥔🍞🧀🍳😊

Breakfast Club is back — and it means more to us than just cereal 🥣💛

We know that mornings can be a challenge for families, especially during half term when routines change and costs can creep up. Here at Athro Lounge, we believe every child deserves to start the day with a full tummy, which is why we’re bringing back our FREE Breakfast Club.

Our aim is simple: to support our local families by providing a welcoming space where children can help themselves to a nutritious breakfast at no cost. It’s our small way of giving back to the community we love — because no one should ever have to worry about the first meal of the day.

Join us every weekday morning between 9am and 10am, grab a bowl, choose a cereal, and let us take care of the morning rush for you 🥰

100 Christmas dinners you say……no problem! Not when you have the wonderful team of volunteers we have at The Well.
Today’s Christmas meal was absolutely amazing, so much so I forgot to take a single photo!

Thank you to everyone who came. The Well is the family we are because of you guys. It is such a privilege to have you as part of our community. We love you!

And to the most amazing team of volunteers ever….you guys are the best. I am in awe of the way you show up week in and week out, and give of yourselves to serve and bless others. Thank you to our previous students who came back for a visit to join us too. Once you’re part of team Well, you’re always part of team Well!

For info: we’ll be open for lunch on Sunday 28th December, but other than that, we’ll be closed to give our volunteers a well earned rest. Don’t forget the Home Cafe is offering lunch on Christmas Day for anyone who needs it.

I’m sorry everyone, we are still without hot water so we will have to close again on Monday. We’re working really hard to get it sorted and we will open again asap!

Hi everyone,
I’m sorry to say this, but due to unforeseen boiler issues we have no hot water currently in the castle rooms which means we are unable to open The Well tomorrow (Friday).
We’re working to get it fixed asap so keep an eye on here and we’ll update you as soon as we can about Monday.
