Strathtay Ramblers would like to thank Richard Paul from Dun Coillich Community Land for leading our ramble today. Richard has an amazing knowledge of all the flora, fauna and geology of the area and we all enjoyed and benefitted from this. It was great to get out in the countryside on a beautiful Autumn morning. It was a lovely day for our walk up the Hill of Loyal and the Hill if Alyth today. The views were fantastic in all directions, South to The Lomonds, North to the Cairngorms, West to Ben Lawers and Schiehallion and East to Forfar. What a great way to enjoy the countryside, get exercise and have interesting conversations with people. Why not join us on our next walk in Glen Tilt on Saturday 19th September.
