ROYAL HIGHLAND SHOW DIARIES - Day Four (the final day!) 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👩🏻‍🌾🚜🐄🌾👢ad

It was a glorious day and the sun was shining over the show grounds on Sunday.

Folk had ordered ice cream before lunchtime (something that should be celebrated in my option) and the Royal Highland Show was buzzing with activity.

We were treated by an outstanding performance from who really did Aberdeenshire proud.

I know I don’t have kids (although I love those special ones in my life) but there was so much to do for children. It was amazing seeing the younger generations get excited about agriculture and food and drink, and I even got the chance to pot my own pea.

totally made the children’s days and it was great to get a quick chat with Cammy of about his RHS success, too.

We’ve packed so much into these past few days and it has been a lot of fun.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to chat away to me and here’s to next year’s show. I hear early bird tickets are on sale already!

Here’s just a few of my highlights from day four🫶

ROYAL HIGHLAND SHOW DIARIES - Day Three 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👩🏻‍🌾🚜🐄🌾👢ad

What a day! We had a packed schedule and some unexpected visitors came shopping with us but what fun we had.

The showjumping is so impressive and a highlight had to be the Grand Parade. We kicked off celebrations with a chat with headliners and even caught up with some of the early festivalgoers🎤✨

I was kindly dressed by in the most beautiful garments and it’s safe to say they will now be staples in my wardrobe.

Here’s just a few of my highlights from day three… 🫶

ROYAL HIGHLAND SHOW DIARIES - Day Two 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👩🏻‍🌾🚜🐄🌾👢ad

Another jam packed day of catching up with attendees, watching livestock competitions and getting a slobbery kiss from one of the biggest Clydesdale horses I’ve ever seen.

Oh and did I mention put my milking skills to the test?

Plenty of refuelling done today in Scotland’s Larder where I sampled as much food and drink as I could see - and lemme tell you, there are some stellar samples to try. Be sure to pop past to try their buttery and Jam flavour, and the chocolate, cherry and chilli BLACK PUDDING ice cream. Yes, they really put black pudding in ice cream.

A brilliant day and we go again for day three now which is officially sold out. BUT there are still a few tickets left to The Reeling later on in the day so be sure to grab your ticket while you can.

Hope you enjoy just a few of my highlights from day two 🫶

FIRST LOOK INSIDE ABERDEENSHIRE’S HOTTEST NEW RESTAURANT 👀🍴

When offers to give you a lil’ nosy around his new spot ahead of its opening on July 15, you jump at the opportunity.

Located at the former Falls of Feugh restaurant, Falls by Orry Shand in Banchory brings a whole new dining experience to the North East of Scotland.

He’s already been inundated with bookings, but if you wanna snap up some of the last available tables, I suggest you head to their website asap because I don’t think it’ll be long until they are gone.

This is going to be one hell of a spot… ✨

A pretty little weekend of plans that FINALLY made it out of the group chat x

P.S. I know I’m wearing the hat wrong 👹 (and I can’t stop listening to Zara on repeat 💖)

Stay curious, and never apologise for tuning up to a soft launch unintentionally 😅🤣✨

I feel very grateful to call this beautiful corner of the world home.
