ad - ambassador • It’s been a looonggg first week of Aberdeen Restaurant Weeks and I for one am not complaining 🤤

There are so many moments from this first week or so that have truly touched me and I think that’s why I became so obsessed with food. The way it brings people together is so precious and I truly believe it is the great connector. You can sit down with anyone and come together over food in a way that can’t really be replicated by other things.

Alas, I am hoping this week is just as long so I can get out as much as I can and enjoy the incredible hospitality of Aberdeen venues.

My jean may or may not have to get unbuttoned this week though, because I refuse to wear leggings to the restraints I’ve booked, BUT boy will it be sooooo worth it šŸ˜

Leave a food pic in the comments if you’ve been out and about - I wanna see what you’ve been eating!

ad • Welcome to episode 2 of RESTAURANT ROULETTE, not chef’s roulette. But it still kinda works...

See what Mirco from .andaluz decided to pick for my dinner as I went to try out their Aberdeen Restaurant Weeks menu.

For breakfast they are offering a coffee, soft drink and a dish for a tenner.

For lunch you can try three dishes for £15.

And for dinner you’ll get three dishes and a dessert for Ā£20.

Aberdeen Restaurant Weeks returns on Monday August 24 until Aunday September 6.

You’ll find all of the venues menus on ’s so you can get those reservations booked in advance.

Do you remember these Aberdeen restaurants?

Come for a trip down memory lane with me as I check out some of the venues taking part in Aberdeen Restaurant Weeks (Aug 24 - Sept 6) and the restaurants they used to be back in the day…

Please feel free to share your old favourites and why you loved them because I have so many amazing memories in some of these spots and I’d love to hear yours.

P.S I don’t think I’ll ever get over Yatai or Taste of Hong Kong 😭

ad • POV: You discover one of Scotland’s most unique summer experiences 🄄🌓✨

Hidden on the banks of the River Spey, has launched Coconut Dreams - a beautiful seasonal pop-up bar in the heart of Speyside celebrating the latest release in The Harmony Collection: Inspired by Fresh Coconut

I was lucky enough to experience the launch, beginning with a walk through The Macallan Estate before sampling the whisky in the award-winning distillery, learning all about the inspiration behind the collection, and following the riverside trail to Coconut Dreams.

Think tropical-inspired whisky serves, stunning sweet pairings created with world-renowned pastry chef Jordi Roca and the distillery’s on-site restaurant, TimeSpirit (which is well worth a visit for lunch or dinner), incredible views over the River Spey and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel worlds away.

If you’re looking for a memorable day out in Speyside this summer, be sure to pop a visit to Coconut Dreams on your list of things to do.

Why not make the most of your time on The Macallan Estate and book to enjoy everything the brand has to offer, from its award-winning distillery experiences to its stunning TimeSpirit Michelin-recommended restaurant, and its boutique, which is full of interesting drams and exclusive merchandise.

Coconut Dreams is open August 6 to September 27, 2026.

Visit themacallan.com to discover more and explore the experiences available at The Macallan Estate. Advance bookings are essential ahead of your visit.

Crafted without compromise. Please savour The Macallan responsibly.
