It's always wonderful when we get the opportunity to see where YPI grants have been spent and what a lovely example this is.

A warm welcome to the handsome Duke as the latest member of the team at Equi-Power Central Scotland RDA and a well done again to the team at Stirling High School who won the grant for their chosen charity.

Just when we think we've seen it all we get a back flipping entrance to a presentation!

Great skills all round on display today at St Joseph's College Dumfries and a really hard job for judges as all the young people had engaged in the most meaningful ways with their charities.

Excellent examples of not just raising awareness and funds but also offering hand son support to charities. The sun was not the only thing shining in Dumfries today, so were all these young people.

It has been a busy week for our programme officers with 21 YPI finals across the country all showcasing young people who have connected with charities in their local communities.

YPI is not just about the young people presenting on the day though. It aims to put pupils at the centre of the process which was very much the case at Bannockburn High School today.

From being met by students on arrival, to our wonderful students hosts, tech support and baristas on hand they were front and centre throughout.

Judges deliberations were no different with a previous winner on the judging panel and a lovely student scribe taking feedback while others entertained the audience with amazing musical acts and next years participants watching and supporting throughout.

Not least though were 5 wonderful, creative, thoughtful groups who did themselves and their charities proud, well done to all including our winners for Strathcarron Hospice

What a wonderful way to end the week 🥳

We encourage young people to share their learning in a variety of ways through YPI and today we saw some lovely examples of that at Perth Academy.

These stunning display boards from 2 of the groups complimented and added to fantastic presentations one of which helped the group representing Perth Street Pastors gain 2nd place prize of £450 thanks to The Gannochy Trust

Huge shout out also to the winning team representing Perth City Boys Club, I think the smiles say it all.
