What a brilliant day at the Aberdeen Kiltwalk on Sunday, Russell joined some of our amazing supporters taking on the challenge for the Foundation.

Today, we come together for the Craig Brown Cup 2026. A day to celebrate community, connection and making a difference through sport ⚽️

And as if captaining the Aberdeen Legends side wasn’t enough, Russell is also taking part in the Kiltwalk Aberdeen tomorrow. 🥾

Leading one event. Walking another. All to support the work of the Foundation.

🚀 What an out-of-this-world experience! ✨

This year, thanks to the incredibly generous support of Apache, pupils across some of our partner schools had the chance to step inside the amazing TechFest Dome, a mobile planetarium bringing the wonders of space directly into the school! 🌍🪐⭐

The immersive and interactive experience took children on an unforgettable journey through space and time, sparking curiosity, imagination and plenty of excitement along the way.

From exploring galaxies to discovering the constellations lighting up the night sky, the pupils absolutely loved becoming space explorers for the day!

Experiences like this are a fantastic way to engage young minds, inspire questions and show that learning can be an adventure.

A huge thank you again to Apache for making this possible and helping us create memories (and future scientists!) that will last a lifetime.

We would like to take a moment to say a huge thank you to all of the amazing volunteers who support the work of the Foundation.

Their time, energy and commitment make a real difference to the young people and communities we work with. Whether sharing their expertise, supporting our partner schools, helping at events and holiday camps, or representing us in the community, their contribution helps us create opportunities and positive experiences for many.

Volunteering is about more than giving your time. It’s about inspiring confidence, opening doors, building connections and making a lasting impact where it matters most.

We are incredibly grateful and proud to have such a dedicated team of volunteers supporting our mission.

Join us at Balmoral Stadium on Saturday 6th June for a fantastic afternoon of family fun, celebrating football and the legacy of the legendary Craig Brown.

General entry: £10, with kids 12 & under free (max 3 per adult)

✨ What an incredible night! ✨

We are delighted to share that our Annual Ball, held two weeks ago at The Chester Hotel, raised an amazing £79,889.68!

What a fantastic couple of mornings at the P4 Festival last week at Aberdeen Sports Village!

Pupils from across all our partner schools came together to play games, have fun, make new friends and enjoy being active in a brilliant atmosphere. The energy, enthusiasm and smiles over both mornings were incredible to see.

A huge shout out to our coaches for delivering such fun, engaging and inclusive sessions. Their enthusiasm make the experiences memorable for all the children involved.

A big thank you as well to our sponsors and partners for their continued support. Events like this simply wouldn’t be possible otherwise and we’re incredibly grateful to be able to create these opportunities.

The Foundation was proud to collect and deliver a wonderful range of gifts today that will ensure some children, who were facing Christmas morning with no presents at all, will wake up to something special this year.

Our sincere thanks go to Mairi Mcinally-Keir at Kinds in Mind for organising a Giving Tree program across Scotland, and to Jaymie Anderson and the team at Celeros Flow Technology in Dyce for their hugely generous donation of gifts.

Jaymie and the Foundation team delivered the gifts to Amanda Pirie at the Printfield Project (https://connectedwoodside.org/printfield-community-project/) in Aberdeen city centre, ensuring they reached children and families who needed them most. 🎁🎅
