Tonight will be the eighth and final session for the 5 young people attending our Intro to Electrics course at The Bridge Centre! 💡

They have done an incredible job learning new, practical skills in electrics and received support in writing their CV's, job hunting and interview preparations. ✍️

From this cohort; one has got a job, and three also have upcoming interviews! 👏

We have had some great feedback about the course from the individuals taking part as well as parents/carers and others supporting them;
"So grateful to you running this course made all the difference to my son getting an apprenticeship. More companies got in touch when he added the course on his cv." 🙌

Intro to Electrics is a free course and runs for 8 weeks, with the next course starting within the next month. Please get in touch if you or someone you know would benefit from joining! 🔌

It was great to get some of our amazing volunteers together to celebrate them this 🥳💛

As Volunteers’ Week comes to an end today, we’d like to thank all of our volunteers again for selflessly giving their time each week to help others - we couldn't do it without you! 🤝👏

Hear from one of our amazing volunteers, Simon as he speaks about his experience volunteering with us in the Flourish project. 🙌

We’re proud to be taking part in Volunteers’ Week 2026 this week – marking 42 years of saying thank you to all volunteers across the UK for everything they do for society. 💛

Our volunteers give so much to help our local community, without them we wouldn’t be able to do what we do.
Thank you to each and every one of you! ☺️

Our Linens for Life lead, Marta, has been at the Diversey Road show in Glasgow this week!

"I feel proud representing Linens For Life- First in UK sustainability project giving new life to used up linen.

Our volunteers from The King's Community Foundation created amazing tote bags out of Hilton Grand Vacations pillowcases." 👏

Linens for Life 🤝 Aberdeen North Foodbank!

We love seeing our projects working together to make a difference! 🙌

Our Linens for Life group have been busy making these wonderful tote bags for our foodbank guests to use for food parcels. 🥫

The group uses sustainability and creativity to help people in need. They use donated hotel linens, that would otherwise go to landfill, to sew purposeful and useful products. This project runs weekly and empowers people to learn new skills whilst having a social and environmental impact. 🧵

We are so grateful to everyone involved! 💛
