Granite City Ball 2016

Granite City Ball 2016 The Granite City Ball is a charity fundraising event aimed at the geoscience community of North East Scotland.

The Granite City Ball is a charity fundraising event aimed at the geological community of North East Scotland. The purpose of the event is to raise money for the Royal National Lifeboats Institute, Search and Rescue Dog Association (SARDA) and the Aberdeen Geological Alumni. The Granite City Ball Committee 2015 have chosen these charities as they all directly help out our geological community. The

date for the ball is the 20th March 2015 at Mercure Aberdeen, Ardoe House. The event will comprise a sparkling wine reception, three course meal and ceilidh hosted by "Iron Broo". In order for the event to take place and to maximise charitable donations, we need to secure sponsorship and are seeking donations of raffle prizes. In order to achieve our goal of raising £7500 towards this event we have three levels of sponsorship:

•Gold: £1000
•Silver: £500
•Bronze: £250
