We are called to love God and love others.

In the Bible, we read that Jesus has ‘…committed to us the message of reconciliation.’ In other words, through Jesus, God has welcomed us into his family and into loving relationships with one another.

Alongside our welcome of the stranger comes a need to bring divided communities together. As strangers become friends, misunderstanding gives way to empathy, and fear melts away.

We would like to share a heartfelt thank you to everyone who took part in 2026
Whether you prayed at home, gathered with your church, used this year’s resources, prayed for Five, or shared content online, it has been a real blessing to join with millions of Christians across the world in prayer.
May the prayers offered during these 11 days continue to bear fruit, drawing many to the life-changing love of Jesus Christ. 🙏

"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

As we continue beyond these 11 days of prayer, may we carry this same spirit of faith and expectation into the week ahead.

Amen.

🙏

Pentecost marks the ‘birthday’ of the Church.
Seven weeks after celebrating Jesus’ resurrection at Easter, we remember a particular gathering of his followers.
Extraordinary things happened – strong winds, bright flames and the ability to speak in languages they’d never spoken before! They were filled with the Holy Spirit, God’s presence with us.
This moment changed everything. Empowered in new ways, they shared the story of Jesus with others and thousands of people made the decision to join them.
They shared together and helped people in need as part of a loving community. What started that day became what we know today as church.
Today, Christians around the world celebrate the moment the Church began. Happy birthday!
