We will be celebrating Greek Easter on Sunday 5 May in the grounds and hall of St Mary's Church, King Street, Aberdeen from 1.30 to 4.30 pm. As well as freshly barbecued lamb, pork and chicken souvlaki, we will have pita, Greek salad, hummus, tzatziki, bread and baklava, and we will be serving complimentary wine and soft drinks. We will also be providing the traditional red eggs. We will be running our usual raffle for which donations would be very welcome.
This year, I am delighted to let you know that we will have a live Greek band playing a selection of music and songs throughout the afternoon.
The admission price for adult members will be £10 and £5 for children aged 5-11. Non-members will be £15 and £5 for children aged 5-11. Because the location means a restriction in the numbers we can accommodate, bookings must be made and entry fees paid in advance and no later than 28 April. This is a ticket only event and there will be no admission without tickets.
Please note the following:
The provision/sale of tickets will be on a "first come first served" basis, so do get your order in as soon as possible
Members should email our Treasurer, Mike Shanks, at [email protected] stating how many tickets for members and for non-members are being requested with the names of all those attending
Any payment due should be made by bank transfer to the Society account: sort code 82-60-16; account number 10019123, giving your name and number of tickets required
Mike will reply confirming your request/purchase in an email which will be your ticket and which you must bring with you to the party
