And that can be a really lonely place to be.

You don't need to bring a mate. You don't need to know anyone. And you certainly don't need to have everything figured out.

Just come along, have a cuppa, enjoy a chat and hopefully make a few new connections along the way.

Because everyone deserves to feel included, valued and part of something.

Our team offers a free early intervention survey to help you live safely and independently in your own home.

A member of our team can visit you at home to identify small changes that could make everyday life easier and help you remain independent.

As part of the service, we can also:

Check whether you’re receiving all the benefits you’re entitled to 💷
Provide advice on ways to make your home safer and more accessible 🏠
Offer free equipment where appropriate to support you at home ☕️

Challenge Poverty Week runs from 5-11 October and aims to to change the conversation around poverty and help end the stigma of living on a low income.

At Aberdeen Care & Repair, we understand that for older and disabled people living on a low or fixed income, the cost of essential work or household needs can create additional financial pressure.

Throughout this week, we will be sharing the ways that we help our clients to ensure that their financial circumstances don't become a barrier to them living safely and independently in their own homes. 🏠

What a great way to start our tour! In the sunniest city in Scotland.

Thank you Dundee for hosting the first date on our five-date national tour. We had a fantastic session in the morning, helping individuals with housing advice, and a really valuable afternoon with professionals who work in health, housing and statutory and support services, referring clients to us on a regular basis.

Some great discussions and some important follow-ups for us to make.

Next stop Aberdeen tomorrow.
