SUN 14 JUN
Theme of the week: The Kerusso Trust in the UK

Heavenly Father, thank you for the privilege of serving you and sharing in the Great Commission. Stir within us faith and compassion that lead to action, through local evangelism, global mission, giving, and prayer. Guard us from growing weary, and help us to play our part faithfully, serving you joyfully wherever you have placed us.

‘“Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”’ (Matthew 28:19-20a)

SAT 13 JUN
Theme of the week: ‘Learn2Serve’ in Bangula

Pray that church leaders in Malawi will discern truth and test all teaching against God’s Word. Ask that they will recognise and resist the appeal of prosperity teaching. Pray that they would desire God above all else and find joy rooted in Christ, not circumstances. Ask for courage to stand firm in the truth and to reflect God’s “good, pleasing and perfect will.”

Give thanks for women encouraged to serve boldly, inspired by biblical examples. As one shared, ‘Being a woman does not hinder God from using me.’ Pray for women across the church in Malawi, that they will grow in confidence, wisdom and faithfulness, embracing God’s calling and trusting that He will equip them for every good work.

SUN 7 JUN
Theme of the week: ‘Learn2Serve’ in Bangula

Almighty God, we give thanks for the transforming power of your Word. As leaders gather in Bangula this week for another ‘Learn2Serve’ workshop, we pray they will come eager to learn, keen to share fellowship, and open to your Spirit. May they grasp afresh your purposes for the church, recommit to lead with humility, integrity and wisdom, and leave better equipped to serve you faithfully.

‘Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.’ (Romans 12:2)

SAT 6 JUN
Theme of the week: Community Children’s Bible Clubs – 10-year anniversary

Give thanks that children are growing in their faith through the Bible Clubs. One girl shared, “I know that Jesus cares for me and that my future is in his hands. We have been encouraged to read the Bible at home. I have also learned to pray from my heart, believing that God will answer my prayers.” Pray that children will continue to know God more deeply and trust him with their lives each day.

FRI 5 JUN
Theme of the week: Community Children’s Bible Clubs – 10-year anniversary

Give thanks for the work of God’s Spirit in the lives of children attending the Bible Clubs. One boy said, “At the Bible Club we learn that Jesus loves us and died to save us from our sins,” and shared how he has stopped fighting, stealing and being rude to his parents and elders. Pray that many children will grow in obedience, choosing each day to live in ways that please Jesus.
