For the first time in the Edinburgh strand, we introduced a guest speaker, Ryan Till (Straight St Consulting), at our networking breakfast this morning! Ryan shared valuable insights on how AI can enhance the way we work - from improving operational efficiency and customer experience to supporting growth, scaling, and even shaping new business models. Just as importantly, he helped us reflect on how to engage with AI ethically and thoughtfully - staying accountable while understanding its risks as well as its opportunities.
This sparked some wonderful conversations over delicious food afterwards. Huge well done to everyone who made the early start to come along, learn and connect with others!

This morning’s Business Connection Networking Breakfast in Edinburgh was an energising start to the day – and what a fantastic turnout! The conversations flowed so naturally that we didn’t even need icebreakers. One attendee commented at the end how refreshing it was to hear people genuinely loving what they do.
Can we love our work all the time? Maybe, maybe not.

The Business Connection Networking Breakfast in Aberdeen wrapped up the year with a bang!
It was a fantastic turnout for our final breakfast event of the year, featuring guest speaker David Lochhead. David shared his entrepreneurial journey with honesty and depth - offering insights that were practical, inspiring, and deeply relatable. Like many of us, he faced unexpected disruptions along the way, but drew strength from his faith to persevere and move forward.

Big shoutout to Filo Coffee House, an ethical & sustainable cafe that's also run as a social enterprise. Beautiful space, and food & coffee were great!

As we look ahead to 2026, exciting things are on the horizon - a year full of growth, opportunity, and inspiration. So stay connected, keep networking, and be ready for what’s coming next!
