👟 22.55 MILLION STEPS LATER… WE DID IT! 🌍🏁

After six months of walking, friendly competition and healthier habits, the JCI Scotland Step Up Challenge has officially crossed the finish line! 🎉

From 7 February to 7 August, 20 participants collectively achieved an incredible 22.55 MILLION steps.

That’s roughly 10,500 miles / 16,900 km! 🤯 Starting in Edinburgh, that’s enough distance to cross Europe and Asia and roughly reach the Philippines, home of the 2026 JCI World Congress! 🇵🇭

Maybe we should’ve just walked there? 😂

We are proud to have three members of our Board representing 𝐉𝐂𝐈 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐭𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 at the 2026 𝐉𝐂𝐈 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲 in 𝐒𝐰𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐧.

Having previously taken part in the 𝐉𝐂𝐈 𝐓𝐫𝐢-𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲, they continue to demonstrate a commitment to lifelong learning and leadership development. Their participation in the European Academy is another milestone in their journey as they learn, connect, and grow alongside emerging leaders from across 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞.

As the academy enters its final days, we look forward to welcoming them home with fresh ideas, meaningful connections, and renewed inspiration to strengthen our chapter and contribute to the continued growth of JCI Scotland.
