A successful day of planting wildflowers at the Wallace Tower on Sunday. It’s going to look lovely next year! Thanks to CuramFyvie for advising and supplying the plants, and Seaton Park Friends for helping plant them. And a wee toad that is living happily amongst them!

We had lots of visitors on Doors Open Day, it was great to hear stories of people’s connections with the Wallace Tower in the past, and views on its development in the future! If you’d like to help us finish the upper floors of the Tower, you can contribute to our Crowdfunder here ⬇️

TCDT was set up in 2012 by a group of local residents with the support of St Georges Church, the University of Aberdeen and local policitians who wanted to work together to develop and improve facilities for the local community.

We have prints and tea towels by the talented Juniper Press, coasters by Bridge of Don and District Men's Shed and honey from Donside Village Community SCIO. All local and all for great causes!

A lovely day yesterday for a visit by Unison Retired Members to the Wallace Tower. They heard all about the history of the building from our volunteers, and had a tour of the upper floors where work is ongoing to create more space for the community.
