We are deeply saddened to share news of a major humanitarian crisis unfolding back Nepal.
Hundreds people are dead and thousands are missing due to catastrophic flash flood along the Nepal-Tibet border triggered by a massive glacial collapse and ice avalanche The disaster sent a towering wall of water and debris ripping through mountain valleys, destroying critical infrastructure, wiping out 40km of roads, and leaving entire villages completely cut off.

The US Geological Survey says "glacial collapse" triggered the wall of water and mud that tore through Nepal and Tibet. Hundreds of people are still missing.
