🎉 We’re delighted to announce that Grampian Hospital Radio has been awarded this year’s Celebrate Aberdeen Parade Collection Fund.💕

The charity will receive £1,000 to help modernise the service it provides to patients, families and staff across Aberdeen’s hospitals, including Roxburghe House.

The funding will support the replacement of a vital studio PC used for broadcasting programmes, managing music playlists and ensuring reliable daily output for listeners.

Congratulations to everyone at Grampian Hospital Radio on this well-deserved award. 👏

Grampian Hospital Radio (GHR) has been named as this year’s recipient of the Celebrate Aberdeen Parade collection fund. The organisation will use the £1,000 fund to modernise the service its provides to patients, families and staff across the city’s hospitals, including Roxburghe House.

The awards, now in their 𝟳𝘁𝗵 year, are open to ALL third sector organisations in Aberdeen City and Shire.

If you took part in our 2025 parade and would like to apply for our £1000 street collection fund, you have one day left to apply.

The funds come from the collecting buckets carried by volunteers during the event.

If you would like to apply, please email Emily, ([email protected]) by TOMORROW Thursday 21st May by 4pm.

In your email - please include (in 300 words or less) why you would like to receive the collection, whilst highlighting any specific projects that it would support.

A judging panel will then select a single organisation from all the applications.
