The Aberdeen Society of Architects are a regional Chapter of the Royal incorporation of Architects in Scotland. Each of the 6 Chapter areas has it's own committee which looks at sustainability and the climate crisis. Our committee aims to share knowledge on climate action relative to the architectural profession. This can range from passive house standards and domestic retrofit, to creating better

urban environments, community housing schemes, or farming cooperatives. Our main focus will be to arrange open talks which can be attended by interested members of the public, and construction & property professionals. Through sharing knowledge we hope to give architects the confidence

Ultimately we will aim to show the benefit that an architect can bring to a project, in terms of design relating to the climate crisis.
