Looking for a fresh start and a chance to build your confidence?

Our Get Ready for Team Programme is for young people aged 16–25 who are not currently in education, work or training. It’s based in Aberdeen and Peterhead and will help you get ready for your next steps.

The programme runs from Monday to Friday.

🌟 It's Communities & Volunteers Day at Aberdeen Foyer!

Today we're celebrating the people, places and connections that make our communities stronger. As part of Challenge Poverty Week 2026, we're hosting a range of free activities designed to bring people together and support wellbeing.

Join us today for:
🚶 A Wellbeing Community Walk exploring free local resources 10am – 11am
📄 CV support and employability advice 11am – 12noon
💼 Interview skills workshops 12noon – 1pm
🎨 Come join some relaxed festive fun for the family with a DIY Crafts session on a budget.

Learn how to make hedgehogs out of the autumnal leaves, fireworks from paint and lollipop ghosts for your trick-or-treaters! 1pm – 2pm

Whether you're looking to build your confidence, learn new skills, meet new people or simply get involved, there's something for everyone.

📍 The Wellbeing Community Walk starts from Marywell Centre at 10am. We'll explore local free resources including the Arts Centre and Library.

Other activities are delivered by Aberdeen Foyer teams throughout the day at the Marywell Centre, Marywell Street, Aberdeen AB11 6JF
