The Aqua Initiative started as a school project in 2008, by founder Edward Po***ck and partner Aman Ghose in Dubai, U.A.E. Through organize events to raise awareness and fund about the world water crisis, these teenagers managed to make large donations to projects around the world. Through major annual events, such as World Water Day, the Aqua Initiative managed to grow to become a highly establis
hed student organization donating thousands of pound each year and winning several awards. After a trip to Ethiopia in 2012, founder Edward Po***ck decided to return to the U.K. and continue the project as a legal charity. The Aqua Initiative became a legal entity on 18th March 2013, and was officially launched on 22nd March 2013. As a charity, the Aqua Initiative works to raise funds which will go towards projects around the world that will provide access to clean water. Through education and fundraising events, the Aqua Initiative will be able to provide a better quality of life to thousands of individuals. As a charity, the Aqua Initiative works to be as transparent as possible, with 100% of all donations being given to individuals in need through projects and any operational costs being taken from a separate fund. We provide all of our information and developments online and hope to become a charity that our supporters can trust. We look to invest in new technologies and work to bring each community the best solution that we can. We believe access to clean water is the core of a better quality of life, leading to better health, education, and employment. We want to see a day when every single individual on the planet can have clean water all year round. Help us on our mission, and support the Aqua Initiative.
