Aberdeen Trades Union Council stands in solidarity with UCU in their struggle against job cuts and cuts to the University curriculum in the North East of Scotland.

They are on strike every day this week. Please join their picket at the main gate of Aberdeen University in Regents Walk and send messages of support to [email protected]

Please join us on Friday 1 May on the eve of our May Day March and Rally for a film documentary on the General Strike 100 years ago. Was it a revolution betrayed? Where does it leave our class and the trade union movement now?

It will be held in Aberdeen Trades Union Council, 22A Adelphi at 7pm. Refreshments provided, donations welcome.
