We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who joined us at Celebrate Aberdeen on Saturday! And, a special thank you to everyone who cheered us on along the way.

It was a great turn out and lovely seeing everyone across our services come together to celebrate the vital work we do at VSA.

Morag and Jimmy, our residents at Broomhill Park, recently celebrated their incredible Diamond Wedding Anniversary!

When asked about the secret to such a long and happy marriage, Morag said "Jimmy being the boss" and Jimmy agreed. Congratulations on your amazing milestone, we hope you enjoyed your cake and had a lovely celebration.

Last week Broomhill Park's Sports Day raised a fantastic £171 for their funds! Our residents had a great day with loads of laughter, games, and prizes and they are excited for next year's events.

Well done to everyone who took part and a huge thank you to everyone who supported the events!

Come along to Northfield Lodge's Psychic Night fundraiser with medium Deena McBride this Friday!

Where: Sunnybank Social Club, Heathryfold Circle
When: Friday 28th August
Time: 7:30pm - 9:30pm
Cost: £20

There will also be a tombola which is £2 per go.

All proceeds will support Northfield Lodge's amenities fund.

Seonaid Christie, Residential Care & Education Support Worker at Linn Moor School, and her partner Craig are fundraising for VSA at the Edinburgh Kiltwalk on September 13th 2026.

This will be their third Kiltwalk and first time fundraising for VSA. The photo below is from their training at Loch Muick recently.
