Climate change. It's closer to home than you think.

NESCAN Hub created a Carbon Literacy® course built specifically for communities in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire using local examples, real stories, and practical tools that actually make sense where you live.

Over 4 online sessions (just 2 hours each), you'll explore:
- The causes and impacts of climate change
- How to measure and reduce your carbon footprint
- Ways to talk confidently about climate with others
- Actions that benefit your community's health, wellbeing, and resilience

At the end, you'll earn an officially recognised certificate from The Carbon Literacy Project - a programme recognised by the UN at COP21.

- Thursdays: 11th, 18th, 25th June & 2nd July 2026

Community groups and third sector organisations in , & can apply for a share of £1 million to support green, sustainable projects that make a real impact.

Apply for up to £50,000 to bring your eco-friendly ideas to life. Whether it's enhancing local green spaces, promoting renewable energy, or encouraging sustainable transport, your project can help create a fairer, greener future for your community.
