That's us wrapped up for the summer, hope everyone enjoyed our weekly meet ups and lessons!

Over the year we've seen children tackle a wide range of activities like arts and crafts, dance, chess and Azerbaijani language classes with the help of our incredible teachers. They've had fun and made friends along the way too.

We would like to thank everyone who made this possible, from volunteers and teachers to parents and children. We appreciate your continued support!

Just a couple of days ago, we were at the Royal Garden Party at the Palace of Holyroodhouse!

It was an amazing event and it was nice to meet so many lovely people there too.

We were happy to hear that we were invited to the event as recognition for our contribution to building and supporting the Azerbaijani community. Our work focuses on:

- Strengthening our community ties through special events and celebrations.
- Sharing our diverse and rich heritage, art and culture.
- Passing on our customs and traditions to the next generation
- Supporting Azerbaijanis to get involved in the Scottish community and society.

We feel so lucky to be a part of such a multicultural country like Scotland!

Thank you to Mike Melvin for nominating us for all the work we do here at Buta. We are very grateful!

We would also like to thank Nara Morrison, Sabina Mammadova and Natalya Hendricks for representing Buta so wonderfully.

What a way to celebrate Armed Forces day!

This weekend we came together to mark Armed Forces day with laser tag, food, tea and good company ⭐️

The kids(and adults) had a blast both competing against each other and working together ❤️

We hope you enjoyed our day out and happy belated Armed Forces Day! 🇦🇿

It’s the last term of classes. It is always lovely to see the classrooms full of energy, focus, conversations, chess games, creativity, laughter.

The children continue to learn, build friendships, enjoy spending time together each week. Our teachers are always happy to see the enthusiasm and engagement the children bring into the sessions.

Thank you to all parents for your continued support and for being part of this community

Happy St Andrews day! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
It’s celebrated also in Azerbaijan as we have a large Scottish community. 🇦🇿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
The sound of bagpipes in the Old city of Baku is beautiful
