CALICO (Cancer and Leukaemia In Children Orientated) is a local charitable organisation, established in 1983. The charity is for benefit of all families who have children suffering from cancer, leukaemia or cancer related illness. Parents who have sadly lost a child are also supported by the charity.
The first priority of CALICO is to the family of any child who has been diagnosed with a cancer
related illness to alleviate, where possible, any additional financial stresses caused.
Each year CALICO helps, where possible, to provide equipment for the Oncology Ward at the Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital as well as toys, games, etc. for the outpatients department. Requests from other relevant departments are also considered.
CALICO is a local charity where the money raised is used to support local families. Registered charity from 05 July 1984
