How to vote in both Aberdeen by-elections.

Residents should be aware there are several differences in voting in the two forthcoming by-elections – Aberdeen South for an MP on 18 June 2026, and George Street/Harbour to be an Aberdeen City Councillor on 25 June 2026.
The main differences are:
-photo ID is required for Aberdeen South as a UK Parliamentary election but not for George Street/Harbour;
-the minimum age for voting in Aberdeen South is 18 and for George Street/Harbour, it is 16
-postal votes can be handed into any polling station for Aberdeen South and George Street/Harbour however for Aberdeen South, a form must be filled in otherwise their vote will not be accepted.
* Please note postal votes for either by-election can also be handed into the Town House reception on Broad Street during office hours

Instead of more bus gates we need public transport that works.

Instead of the LUZ we need support for the local business.

Instead of road closures we need better planning and accountability for mismanagement and waste.

We need to save Aberdeen from the politicians!
