One sleep to go! The Dragon Ride cycle race will be coming to Penderyn Community Centre - Canolfan Gymunedol Penderyn feeding station tomorrow, first riders expected around 6.45am onwards. Volunteers still required so come along and get involved in an amazing experience! 🚴🚴🏼‍♀️🚴‍♂️

5 DAYS TO GO! Volunteers needed and very welcome!

Yet again, we are one of the feeding stations for the amazing Dragon Ride 2026. It’s an amazing experience and one that you’ll never forget, it involves handing out food to thousands of cyclists as they stop for a very quick break before they carry on on this race - it really is something to behold! We also have Rhondda Radio around entertain us!

So come along from 8 am to help out and have an amazing experience that you will never forget!

Penderyn Community Centre is pleased to announce it has been awarded a grant of £6500.00 from the Pen Y Cymoedd Wind Farm Community Fund. The Independent Pen Y Cymoedd Wind Farm Community Funf CIC is responsible for managing the £1.8 million a year Fund set up by European energy company Vattenfall, the operator of the wind farm. The Fund will be in place until at least 2042.
