30/01/2026
We have decided to temporarily close the Penderyn Village Pantry from the end of the day today (Friday 30th January) for a short period of time. We have decided this so that we can review and restructure how it is organised, managed and run. This is a chance to reset and renew our current framework that is clear on what our aims and objectives are.
The pantry has grown exponentially from the days of a few of us being out on a stall in the rain and now is the time to revisit our plans so that it better fits our community and is even more successful in the future. It’s an exciting opportunity to reorganise the Pantry and make it better than ever.
But don’t worry, we are not shutting for good, only for a few weeks or so, so be prepared for our newly improved Village Pantry where we will be welcoming you all back with open arms!
I would personally like to offer a heartfelt thanks to all of our volunteers for their exceptional service and dedication to the pantry: they have helped so many people who are really struggling and have literally saved lives. Thank you all for that. ❤️
