A tough test against to start with as Bryncethin will be looking to bounce straight back into Division 2.

The first team sheet of the new season is in as the boys will put their fitness and skills to the test in a competitive fixture against Glynneath Rfc

Skipper Ben Morris, “Boys have worked hard over the summer and the game is about more than the result. It’s a chance to bring everyone together, build connections, give players an opportunity, and get the whole village behind us. Hopefully there will be a bumper crowd who can get excited in what we are trying to achieve. We’re looking forward to getting out there, representing the club, and enjoying the game together and who knows a beer or two after.”

This time tomorrow we be kicking off our pre season campaign against our friends from Glynneath Rfc.

Rhigos RFC Juniors will be warming up the crowd as they take on Aberdare at 12pm.

Special mention Ryan Callahan who’s is starting for Neath RFC tomorrow in their pre-season fixture against Maesteg RFC.

That’s where we need your help, we are calling on former player whether you’ve recently retired or been retired to 40 years, we would like to see as many of you as possible in what plans to be an action packed day.

We are also delighted to announce that Rhigos RFC Juniors U10s will be playing Aberdare U10s at 12 before the big fixture.

It’ll be a cracking day all in with food stall and live entertainment from The Currants duo post game.
