Aberchirder Village Hall Welcome to Aberchirder Village Hall – The heart of our community. Built in 1898 to serve our thriving and lively community.

Our aim/purpose is to provide recreational and meeting facilities to benefit and improve the conditions of life for all the inhabitants of the community of Aberchirder The Hall is located within the attractive village of Aberchirder in the North East of Scotland and has a range of rooms that make it truly multifunctional. Aberchirder Villagers are proud to have been privileged enough to benefit fr

om the use of a village hall, enabling the community and individuals to meet, fundraise and socialise. Following more than 100 years of use, the current committee will embark on a rejuvenation programme to enable the hall to provide up to date, warm and practical facilities for many years to come. Our Village Hall is a charitable SCIO organisation (SC050601). The business ethos of the Trustees is that hiring fees should cover all routine running and maintenance costs. Fundraising is reserved for exceptional purchases and capital developments.

This week its “National Volunteer Week 2026”. Our hall keeper, Helen Fowlie is a volunteer. She is the person that makes sure everything runs effortlessly at our village hall. We really don’t know what we would have done without her. As a small token of our appreciation, we will send Helen and Andrew on a trip to Denmark. We hope you have a great time 😊
Aberchirder Village Hall would also like to praise all the amazing volunteers who every week provide activities for local young people and who arrange social events for everyone. We are truly lucky to have so many great volunteers within our little community 😊

Many of you who brought a brick for the “Memorial Hall” re-development have kindly chosen to donate their funds to Aberchirder Village Hall and because of that, we have received a cheque totalling £4384. We will with this donation repair, sand and varnish the floor in the main hall.
This work will be carried out end of June beginning of July.
We, the hall trustees would like to thanks everyone how have donated and really appreciate your support 😊
