😍 Happy New Year everyone ! 🥰

We hope you enjoyed the lovely Christmas tree and decorations outside the hall over the festive period, sadly we have taken them all down this morning ready for a busy start to 2026!

🥳 The hall is all set up ready for a private birthday party today with this brilliant inflatable from Mane Events. We are so lucky that our Village Hall is big enough for these great inflatables to be hired 🏰🩷

Don’t forget 💙 Abbotskerswell Preschool 💙starts again on Monday 5th Jan with 💜 Baby & Toddlers 💜 back on 12th Jan.

🎄Christmas has arrived at the Village Hall 🎄

After much un-tangling of lights, hanging of baubles and bows the tree and decorations are up.

🎄 We hope you all enjoy the festive feel 🎄

The Village Hall Trustees are looking for somebody hopefully local to price some groundwork in the front carpark. It involves levelling and then laying some patio slabs. If you are interested or can recommend someone please contact us.

🍰🧁To all of our bakers, 🫖 tea makers, 🎫 raffle ticket sellers, 🎪all the helpers that set up and tidied away 🎪, to our very generous raffle prize donators including Dainton Park Golf Club Lotus Spa Centre Orchard Coffee & Crafts and Court Farm , to DJ Dave Peters as always.. and to all of you who came and joined in.

❤️Fantastic morning at the Village Hall learning about how to use a defibrillator and carry out CPR.

❤️ Taking action quickly massively increases the survival rate for someone suffering a cardiac arrest.

❤️ John from Devon Air Ambulance demonstrated to the large group of villagers who attended the session how the defibrillators work and demystified using one.

❤️ There are 7 defibs in our village community- do you know where they are..?

❤️ And we raised £250 for the Devon Air Ambulance trust in the process! Thank you 🙏

🇬🇧 The Village Hall will be helping our community celebrate the 80th Anniversary of of VE Day with an afternoon tea, music, vintage vehicles and much more between 2pm and 5pm.
