Goats Lodge. Census records show Mr William Jackson, his wife Isabella living in Goats Lodge in 1911, 1921. In 1939 his daughters Helen (Ellen) and Mary are living there. Mary died in 1962. She was affectionately known as "the goat-woman" after looking after the famous Bagot Goats in the park for many years.

On Wednesday the 25th February the Nostalgia Team will be in Church House between 2-4pm for a coffee and chat afternoon. We will be showing some property sales brochures we have picked up over the years. If you still have your house leaflets please bring them along for us to have a look at. See how dramatically house prices have risen over the years. We look forward to seeing you. All welcome, free entry, Refreshments are available for a donation. Thank you.
