L’Ecole Doctorale Sciences de la Matière (EDSDM) regroupe près de 350 doctorants de divers
horizons. Pour faciliter les rencontres et les échanges entre doctorants et docteurs, une poignée d’entre
nous s’est regroupée en association. A l’instar des Bureaux des
Elèves (BdE) des écoles d’ingénieurs, DSMaRT est une association créée en 2009 par et pour les
doctorants de l’EDSDM. Nos objectifs

ituer une source d’informations utiles aux doctorants lors de leur formation doctorale
• Créer un réseau scientifique et relationnel de doctorants et docteurs de l’EDSDM
• Valoriser la formation doctorale auprès des entreprises
• Informer les doctorants sur les perspectives qui leur sont offertes en terme d’emploi en les
mettant en contact avec des acteurs privés ou publics, le plus souvent docteurs eux-mêmes
Notre fonctionnement
Tout doctorant ou ancien doctorant (post-doc, ATER…) de l’EDSDM peut adhérer à l’association. Tous les adhérents sont invités à prendre une part active dans la vie de l’association, à proposer des
idées ou à aider à les mettre en oeuvre, ainsi qu’à participer au vote pour l’élection du bureau lors
de l’Assemblée Générale annuelle. Le bureau actuel

The material sciences doctoral school (EDSDM) gathers more than 350 PhD students from diverses backgrounds. How many other PhD students do you know ? In order to ease meetings and exchanges between PhD students, a bunch of us gathered for this association. D-SMaRT was born. Like the Students associations of engineering schools, D-SMaRT is an association created in 2009 by and for the PhD students of the EDSDM. Our goals
• Be a useful information source for doctoral students during their PhDConstituer
• Create a scientific and relational network of students and PhD from the EDSDM
• Valuing doctoral training with enterprises
• Inform doctoral students about the offered job prospects by putting them in contact with private or public searchers, most often PhD themselves
Our functioning
Every present or former doctoral student (post-doc, ATER …) from the EDSDM can join the association. Every member are invited to take an active part into the life of the association, give ideas or help implement those ideas, as well as participate to the vote for the election of the board during the annual’s General Assembly.
