🌍 Project Team Prepares for Survey Implementation
Transformational Learning for Sustainable Environment

Within the framework of the project Transformational Learning for Sustainable Environment (2025-1-IT02-KA210-ADU-000354252), the project team is currently working on preparations for the upcoming survey activities.

During this phase, partners are focusing on designing and refining questionnaires that will be used in field research with adult learners and educators. These surveys aim to gather valuable insights into the needs, expectations, and sustainability-related learning priorities of the target groups. The collected data will serve as a foundation for developing meaningful and impactful transformational learning scenarios.

At the same time, partners are coordinating methodological approaches, identifying potential pilot organizations, and ensuring that the survey tools align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the overall objectives of the project. This preparation process is a crucial step toward creating practical, learner-centered sustainability education materials.

The findings from the surveys will directly contribute to the development of innovative sustainability-focused learning scenarios, which will later be compiled into a comprehensive Activity Booklet available in English and the languages of the partner countries.

🌍 Online Progress Meeting for Sustainability Learning Scenarios

We recently held our online progress meeting within the project Transformational Learning for Sustainable Environment (2025-1-IT02-KA210-ADU-000354252).

During the meeting, partners discussed the development and adaptation of the activity scope, including the design of surveys for field research, the structure of the project outputs, and the integration of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into the learning scenarios. The partners also coordinated the overall process for developing sustainability-focused transformational learning materials.

In the next phase of the project, partners will finalize the design of the surveys that will be implemented with adult learners and educators. At the same time, partners will bring framework proposals for the Toolkit and discuss its possible structure and content. Another important step will be identifying which external organizations, beyond the project partners, can collaborate in forming the pilot group. Cooperation opportunities with local organizations, educational institutions, and community initiatives will be explored, and the methodology for implementing the pilot activities will be defined.

The results of the surveys and focus group discussions will help partners better understand the needs of the target groups. Based on this research, partners will develop transformational learning scenarios focused on sustainability, which will later be compiled into an Activity Booklet and published in English and the languages of the partner countries.

🌍 LTTA in Marsico Nuovo, Italy – Final Day 🇮🇹✨
Day 5

Day 5 focused on developing and presenting transformative learning scenarios for sustainability, while strengthening participants’ ability to apply and share these approaches in adult education contexts.

🧩 In the morning workshops, participants worked in heterogeneous groups to design transformative learning scenarios. As part of the process, participants took on the role of elements from nature—such as a tree, a river, the soil, or other living and non-living natural entities.
From these perspectives, they created written messages and drawings on paper, expressing environmental concerns, needs, and messages addressed to humans. This role-based activity encouraged empathy, perspective-taking, and deep reflection on human–nature relationships.
Afternoon Session
During the afternoon session, participants presented and discussed their learning scenarios, exchanging feedback and reflecting on how these activities could be implemented in their own organizations and shared with adult educators.

📝 The day continued with a post-test and questionnaire, followed by overall evaluation and certification, allowing participants to reflect on their learning journey and the impact of the LTTA.

🌱 Day 5 marked a meaningful conclusion to the training, highlighting how experiential, reflective, and creative methods can support transformational learning and promote sustainable attitudes and actions in adult education.
