🚀 Another milestone has been achieved under the framework of our project: a job-specific terminology has been published!

🔎📖 One of the main obstacles that people with backgrounds face in the countries of destination is the barrier.
This is why we developed a glossary to give concrete support to migrant and refugee people in their access and integration in the European market, which is at the core of the EU co-funded project AMIL (Alliance Multi-Stakeholder for Migrants Integration and Labour).

The glossary contains 130 words and concepts belonging to 4 job sectors:
🔸Intercultural mediation
🔸Tourism Industry
🔸Food Service Industry
🔸Logistics

In autunno inizieranno invece i workshop sulle soft skills.

🌍 The AMIL (Alliance Multi-Stakeholder for Migrants Integration and Labor) project promotes the integration of Third Country Nationals (TCNs) into the labour market in Europe.

🤝 It has been designed with the awareness that something concrete for this cause can only be achieved by adopting a multi-level, approach.

💡 What does it mean?
Advocating for a fair integration of people with backgrounds is such an important and ambitious challenge that it cannot be undertaken alone. We need to join forces, competences, and perspectives.

🌐 This is why we created the Community of Interest (CoI), an open space – coordinated by ALDA – for collaboration, exchange of best practices, and joint action, bringing together:

🏛️ Local authorities – bringing an institutional point of view;
🤲 Civil society organisations – sharing NGOs’ experience;
🎓 Universities – providing an academic perspective;
💼 Employers – raising awareness about the job sector’s needs;
🗣️ Migrant communities – directly involved: without their perspective, any effort would be meaningless;
🌱 Any person or organisation believing in migrant integration.

✨ If this sounds like you and you would like to be part of a dynamic network, join the CoI! ⤵️
