A bad day for Trump, Vance, Putin and others who dismally failed to skew the results.
A bad day for Vance who was unable to broker a deal with Iran.
A bad day for Melania whose astonishing media appearance backfired with the help of her chum Amanda Ungaro.
Good to see bullies and the arrogant, the dishonest and the authoritarians get their comeuppance

I admire and stand with Volodymyr Zelensky who held his own with great courage in the face of 2 obnoxious bullies in the White House yesterday. It is Trump who should be apologising to the Ukrainian people for calling their President a dictator (and then claiming he had forgotten he had done so) and for preposterously blaming Ukraine for starting the war.
If it weren’t so tragically sad we would all be laughing at Trump’s comically transparent untruthfulness and his inept attempts to conceal his pro Putin antics.

J'admire et je soutiens Volodymyr Zelensky qui a tenu bon face à deux adeptes confirmés du "bullying" à la Maison Blanche hier. C'est Trump qui devrait s'excuser auprès du peuple ukrainien pour avoir traité leur président de dictateur (et pour avoir ensuite prétendu qu'il avait oublié qu'il l'avait dit) et pour avoir ridiculement accusé l'Ukraine d'avoir déclenché la guerre.
Si ce n'était pas si tragiquement triste, nous serions tous en train de rire des mensonges comiquement transparents de Trump et de ses tentatives ineptes de dissimuler son penchant pour Poutine.

I stand with Ukraine on this sad 3rd anniversary of Putin’s invasion of a free country in violation of international law and all the principles of human decency.
I reject Trump’s lies.
If thieves break into your home and steal, are you the thief?
Only in Alice through the Looking Glass or Orwell’s 1984 Doublespeak!

Message to the Staff, Students, Alumni and, Friends of the Ukrainian School of Political Studies

Not a day goes by without our thoughts turning to Ukraine and the untold suffering of the Ukrainian people since Russia’s brutal invasion of your country in defiance of international law and in utter contempt for human rights.

Today marks 1,000 days of your fight against tyranny that has tested your courage and resilience in standing up for freedom, justice, and the right to determine your own future.

We can only imagine the suffering this war has caused to your School’s community — lives lost, families displaced, homes destroyed.

At the same time we are filled with admiration for the way in which your School has continued to operate effectively in such dire conditions.

Today I would just like you to know that you are not alone and I am sure all members of the ASPS stand ready, each in their own way, to give you help, support, and solidarity in pursuing your valuable work.

1000 days is a landmark and a moment to take stock of all you have achieved and as I take over as President of the ASPS I would greatly value your ideas as to what we in the broader ASPS Community can do, collectively or individually, to further your cause and support your inspirational work.

With deepest sympathy for those who have lost loved ones, courage for those who are suffering and profound respect for the dedication of your School in promoting the values to which we all aspire.
