Okay… tiny confession time 😅
I made a mistake in the previous calculations of the final rankings. Math is powerful… but sometimes it needs a double-check! 🧮🤓

So today, I’m publishing the official and definitive results of the BMC 2025 💪

There are 8 categories in total:
🩸 Plasma
🔴 Platelets
⚪ White cells
❤️ Whole blood

Each category is ranked:
🌍 Per country (total donations)
📊 Per country divided by the number of Mensa members, so that smaller countries are not disadvantaged in the Challenge. Fair play for everyone! 🙌

The 2026 edition started on January 1st, 2026, and donations are already coming in — about 15 donations have already been reported since the beginning of the year! 💪

👉 Please remember: each donation must be reported individually using the official form.
If you donate twice (for example, two plasma donations and one whole blood donation), please submit three separate forms — one form per donation.

⚠️ Only donations entered through the official form will be counted in the Challenge results.

From January 1, 2026 to October 31, 2026

Donate from January 1 to October 31, blood, plasma, platelets, or white cells 🩸💛🟠⚪

👉 1 donation = 1 form.
👉 If you give blood and plasma in the same session = 2 forms to fill out.
Some questions in the form are mandatory, others are optional.
Tell in the form which country you want your donation to count for 🌍
👉 Example: If you’re French 🇫🇷 living in Germany 🇩🇪, donating in Italy 🇮🇹 but in love with Japan 🇯🇵 → you choose which country your donation represents!

Donations can be made anywhere in the world 🌎
Former Mensa members & non-members are welcome 🙌
Family, partners, friends, and colleagues can also participate → they just need to fill out the form after donating.

🩸 Meet Laurent from France!

He already made 4 donations of 480ml in 2025 for the Bloody Mensans Challenge 💪✨

But here’s the twist: Laurent proudly holds the title of “The Hairiest Donor” 🧔🔥

Rumor has it that even Sherlock Holmes 🕵️‍♂️ would need a magnifying glass to count all those hairs… and the Doctor 🛸 might need a whole extra season just to explore them!

Laurent proves that being a hero doesn’t mean wearing a cape — sometimes it just means rolling up your sleeve and donating blood (with extra style 💇‍♂️).

🔥 Spotlight on JoonSeok from Korea! 🔥

JoonSeok has already donated 35 times — plasma 💛, platelets 🟠, and even white cells (300 ml) ⚪ — for a total of 10,930 ml given! 🩸👏

And one of his contributions marked the 150th donation of the Bloody Mensans Challenge 2025 💯🎉

What is a white cell donation? 🤔
It’s a special type of donation where white blood cells (granulocytes) are collected. These cells are vital in helping patients with very weak immune systems (for example, people undergoing intensive chemotherapy) to fight off life-threatening infections. A rare and powerful way to make a difference! 💪🌍
Huge respect to JoonSeok for his amazing dedication and for showing us the many ways we can save lives ❤️
