We have some dogs looking for a temporary foster home (not together 😁) so if you've thought about fostering but haven't quite decided you can do it, NOW is your time.
These dogs need a calm home environment, a well balanced companion dog if possible and your love and patience.
A chat doesn't commit you to anything, but it might just start a hugely rewarding journey. Please get in touch if you may be able to help.
We are delighted to be working closely with Asso Adoptanimaux looking to find foster and adoptive families locally to our hub around Ark 79 in Sainte Soline.
We have always found the Ark and Hope communities to be great places to showcase our foster dogs and have found some amazing families for those dogs.
More recently, as we’ve lost most of our foster families, we’ve been able to use the base at Ark to show off Asso Adoptanimaux dogs. We would love to make more regular doggy visits there, but to do that we need to expand our fostering team in the area.
We really need foster families who can offer a calm and patient environment for the dogs to decompress, who are happy to foster dogs who may need toilet training and general training and, as part of the experience, bring your foster dog to one of the shops on their respective opening days to meet the public and spend time answering any questions from potential adopters.
Fostering can be as flexible as you need it to be so, if you’re only available at certain times of the year or you would prefer to foster certain types or ages of dogs, we would still love to hear from you.
Smaller dogs find homes much more easily than the bigger girls and boys ,so we’d particularly love to hear from you if you’re not fussy about the size or age of dog you’re helping.
If you’re interested in learning more, please get in touch via messenger or pop along and have a chat at Ark 79 on a Tuesday morning in August.
