an update from the French school >>>

With two more weeks to go, the French school students are in the midst of their immersive phase. The immersive phase started off with a family stay, and after that, two weeks of internship at a local business. It’s incredible to see how much the students have learned in this time of internship, about the French language, the French culture, and to get to make contacts in the region. Yesterday we organized an evening to thank all of the internship supervisors, for being open to receive one or more students and to help them in their process of learning French. Overall, it was a beautiful evening, with conversation, laughter, and of course, a good apéro!💫

À deux semaine de la fin, les étudiants de l’école de français sont en pleine phase d’immersion. Cette phase a debuté par un séjour en famille, suivi deux semaines de stage. C’est incroyable de voir tout ce que les étudiants ont appris pendant cette période de stage, tant sur la langue française, que sur la culture française, et de voir qu’ils ont pu nouer des contacts dans la région.
Hier, nous avond organisé une soirée pour remercier tous les responsables des stages d’avoir accueilli un étudiant et de l’avoir aidé dans son apprentissage du français. Dans l’ensemble, ce fut une belle soirée, ponctuée de conversations, de rires et, bien sûr, d’un bon apéro !💫
