The election for the President of the MOC-CGA Athletes Commission 2025-2028 took place today, and Christopher Rougier Lagane has been elected to lead the commission for the new term.

The full commission for 2025-2028 includes:

Badminton Europe Awards - Charles et Kestutis récompensés

Charles Noakes et Kestutis Navickas ont tous deux été récompensés par la Confédération Européenne de Badminton ce soir à Belgrade, comme meilleur para athlète et meilleur coach de l'année 2024.

🙌 The Shuttle Time (ST) Coordinator is planning to host the 2025 ST Yearly Planner session with the ST Teachers scheduled for Saturday 22 March, 9am to 12pm.

🏸By April 2025 the ST program will be rolling out to schools and communities!

🤝VBA is searching for a venue to host training sessions also for the build up of junior and senior team for men and women. More discussion on setting up of clubs affiliated under VBA will be updated once VBA is endorsed to be a member of VASANOC (Vanuatu Association of Sports And National Olympic Committee) and the BWF — Badminton World Federation by beginning of May 2025. Preparation of legal documents is well into progress ✍️

Oceania badminton officials to the world! 🌏🏸

Cynthia Tam (AUS) has been appointed to her first tournament as a BWF Umpire! She'll be action this week at the Ruichang China Masters 2025.

She received her certification last year and was awarded her certificate earlier this week by Ruvian Ruslan, BWF Tournament Series Manager.
