Association Vent du Sud - Southwind The sailing and boating club "Vent du Sud - Southwind" was created in 2011 to promote discovery of the nautical world, nautical sports.

The club is registered in France and based in Port Saint Cyprien, the most important port in the Golfe du Lion, Languedoc Roussillon. When you join us as a paying guest (read "crew") or taking a sailing course with us, whether on a day sail or a week long cruise, you enable us to offer disadvantaged young people an introduction to the maritime world, including seamanship training and environmental

awareness trips. We are a registered non-profit, and any revenue from paid activities are fully applied towards our mission.

Shared boat ownership is in the planning stages, aimed at enabling sailing enthusiasts to become part owners of a boat, with right to part time usage as well as sailing toghether.
