To mitigate global warming effects it is necessary to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Carbon-free energies are the main options to achieve this goal but carbon capture techniques also offer valuable complementary solutions for the Energy transition.
We are happy to invite you all to « CCUS Innovative Technology » conference in partnership with EAGE Local Chapter Paris
The lecture will present a selection of new technologies allowing economically viable carbon capture.

The IFP School EAGE Student Chapter is delighted and proud to share that our 2022 Laurie Dake team, namely Nicolas Martin Diaz , Gideon Kibirige , Daniel Sejas Kapustiak , Marwa Shmeis , Orlane Mégane LOUKASSOYE , attended the 83rd EAGE Annual Conference in Madrid, Spain and won the 2nd place out of 26 teams participating from every part of the world. 🌎🏆🇪🇸

The Laurie Dake Challenge focuses on promoting cross-disciplinary geoscience and engineering integration within universities.
This year, the challenge revolved around proposing a field development plan for the Golfo de Cardiz field in offshore Spain, using data provided by Repsol.

This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the support from several organizations. Thus, the EAGE IFP School Student Chapter expresses its utmost gratitude to (European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers) and for the valuable data. Additionally, we thank and for the financial support. Finally, we send our sincere "thank you" to Mr. Jérôme Laval , the team’s mentor, in addition to Carla Castillo , Arnaud TORRES and Gilles Fabre for their help during this journey.
